Packing Service Guide (Combined Packing · Repacking · Vacuum Compression Bags)
For safe international shipping, we repack items that need it and offer a combined packing service that gathers items arriving from multiple stores into a single shipment. Fees may vary depending on the form and quantity of your items and the difficulty of packing.
1. Packing Fee Structure
Base packing fee + number of arrived packages × KRW 1,000
· Total weight of 10 kg or less: base packing fee KRW 3,000
· Total weight over 10 kg: base packing fee KRW 4,000
· Total weight over 20 kg: base packing fee KRW 5,000
- If packing results in 2 or more boxes → the base packing fee is charged for each additional box
- If you request repacking after packing is complete (for example, to add items) → an additional base packing fee applies
- For bubble wrap packing of individual items, or repacking / unpacking individual items → an additional KRW 1,000 packing fee per item
2. Vacuum Compression Bag Packing
Bulky items such as clothing and bedding often have a higher volumetric weight than actual weight. Using vacuum compression bag packing reduces volume and can save you on shipping fees.
※ Vacuum Compression Bag Fee
· Fee: KRW 10,000 per bag (materials included)
· Charged in addition to the base packing fee.

Additional Courier Shipping Charges
※ Fuel surcharge is applied separately

international oil prices, and when you are actually billed, that month's
fuel surcharge is added to the amounts below.
-
Delivery to remote and outlying areas
This is the additional charge applied when a parcel is delivered to an island, mountainous, or other outlying area.
· The greater amount of KRW 39,000 and
actual weight (or volumetric weight) × KRW 650/kg is applied.
· Example 1) 10 kg parcel → KRW 39,000 vs KRW 6,500 → KRW 39,000 applies
· Example 2) 80 kg parcel → KRW 39,000 vs KRW 52,000 → KRW 52,000 applies
-
Address correction after shipping
This is the fee charged when the recipient's address must be changed or corrected after the parcel has already been shipped.
· KRW 14,600 per parcel
· Address errors found before shipping can be corrected free of charge, so double-checking
your delivery address when you place your order helps you avoid unnecessary costs.
-
Oversized parcels (exceeding size limits)
A parcel is classified as oversized, and an additional charge applies, if it meets either of the following conditions:
· The longest side is over 120 cm
· Or the second-longest side is over 75 cm
In that case, both of the following apply:
1) An oversize fee of KRW 35,600 is charged per parcel
2) Even if the actual or volumetric weight is under 18 kg, the parcel is billed at the minimum 18 kg shipping rate
Example) Even if a box actually weighs 5 kg, if it exceeds the size limits it will be billed at the 18 kg rate plus the
KRW 35,600 oversize fee.
※ Please note
These additional charges follow the courier's policy and are not amounts that EasyPost imposes arbitrarily.

Import Duties, Taxes & Customs Clearance
All parcels shipped overseas are classified as imports when they arrive in the destination country. Depending on the value and type of the items, customs in the destination country may charge import duties and taxes, and the criteria and amounts vary by each country's customs law.
Who Pays the Duties and Taxes
-
DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) — default — the recipient pays the taxes
This is the default term for all parcels shipped by EasyPost. Import duties and taxes are paid directly by the recipient in their own country.
-
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — selectable when using an express courier — taxes are prepaid in Korea before shipping
· Change fee: KRW 40,000 (charged separately)
· Account credit equal to 100% of the item value must be set aside
· After customs in the destination country deducts the duties and taxes, the difference is refunded
※ We recommend contacting customer support before shipping
For details about import duties and taxes or changing to DDP, please contact customer support before your parcel is shipped.
